Our latest update contains some new features for you: Swipe-up function for Instagram, planning and publishing of IGTV videos, lifetime metrics and top or flop posts in the analytics module, editing of responses to dialog tickets on approval, unlimited custom channels per license and renaming of topics into topic categories. As always, you will find all details in the following.
New Instagram post type: IGTV
From now on you can easily plan and publish longer videos via dirico. Please note that the minimum length for IGTV videos is one minute. The maximum length of the video must not exceed one hour.
If you upload videos for IGTV via a mobile device, the duration is limited to 15 minutes. However, if you upload via the web or your computer/laptop, you can use the full video duration of IGTV videos, 60 minutes. Also note that you can only use the .mp4 format for IGTV videos.
Swipe-up function for Instagram stories
Does your Instagram account have more than 10,000 followers? If so, you can enjoy a new feature in the Instagram Story Post Editor: Swipe-up!
The advantage of the Swipe-up feature in the Story Posts is obvious: It allows you to lead your followers straight from your story to a desired link and you don't have to take the workaround of referring to the link in your biography.
Just enter the desired link in the field below the story asset and publish your story as usual.
Analytics update: lifetime metrics and top/flop posts
We have completely revised the analysis module so that it is now even more intuitive to use. All displayed data refer to lifetime metrics. This makes it even easier to directly compare concrete numbers.
The selection of user-defined time periods has also been simplified considerably. Both typical periods such as "Last week" and a user-defined period can be selected even faster.
In addition, we have added a new widget to the performance dashboard that displays the top and flop posts. This shows the ten posts with the highest or lowest engagement. This is valid for the selected time period as well as for the entire lifetime of the respective channel. This allows you to quickly and easily identify and evaluate trends.
Editing of responses to dialog tickets that are to be approved
We have also made a small change in the Dialog module: Answers to be approved can now be edited by the approver, if necessary. This is especially useful if the answer itself fits, but e.g. a grammar error has been noticed. Instead of rejecting the approval - as before - with reference to the spelling error, the approver can now simply correct the error and then approve the answer.
Unlimited custom channels for each license
From now on you can add an unlimited number of custom channels, those without automated publishing function, to your dirico license.
These channels have a pure planning function and therefore do not count towards your respective channel contingent.
Renaming of topics to topic category
With our update we have renamed all fields that you previously knew as "topics" to "topic categories".
A little tip: When updating, you may encounter problems with old files from time to time. If this is the case, it helps to empty the cache in the browser.
