With our latest update we have made some improvements in dirico. Including: Optimisation of the filter in the calendar, changing thumbnails without shortening links (Facebook, LinkedIn), adding locations to Facebook posts and many more.

Improving the filter in the calendar

With our update, we have further expanded the options in our filter: for example, search results filtered by strategic information such as topic category now include all measures with the corresponding topic category: content, topics, tasks and events.

Consistent sidebar in the external view

From now on, you will also find the grouped sidebar in the external view, which you have already been familiar with from ideas, content and topics for several updates.

Simplification of the pin function in DAM

In the Digital Asset Management, you can now filter by pinned folders and files and pin several files or folders at the same time.

Calendar: Amount of dialog tickets visible in the three-point menu

We have made an improvement in the three-point menu of each already published content in the calendar (day and week view). If there are dialog tickets for the corresponding content, this is now displayed: by a number on the right above the dialog icon.

Facebook posts: Adding locations

Facebook posts can be added locations with this update. You will find the option at the bottom right of the post editor below the plus icon. By clicking on the "Location" item, you can enter the desired location and select from a list of existing locations that match your entry.

Change thumbnail of link posts without shortening the link

For Facebook and LinkedIn posts, you can now change the thumbnails of links without having to shorten the link first.

On Facebook, this function is restricted: the link URL must be a verified domain.

With LinkedIn, this restriction does not exist. Thumbnail images can therefore be exchanged for links from both verified and non-verified domains.

A little tip: When updating, you may encounter problems with old files from time to time. If this is the case, it helps to empty the cache in the browser.
