We just finished the last work packages for our new highlight feature: the global chat.
Furthermore in our update: We set up a board exclusively for your ideas and suggestions concerning the improvement of dirico, upddated a PDF export of the content plan, extended the reply period for Facebook DMs and increased the usability for those who daily work with link posts.
The global chat
With the implementation of our global chat, we enable you to communicate even easier with your colleagues within dirico.
We distinguish between 1-on-1 chats and conversations with any number of people (=dirico users).
Entities can be linked so that you can refer to content, ideas and all other measures in dirico in chats or conversations. Clicking on the link opens the respective measure.
In conversations, you can also mention people if they are a member of the conversation.

Note: The global chat is a paid extension of dirico. It can only be activated for all users of a team and is charged with 7€ per user per month. If you are interested, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
Feature Ideas & Upvote Board
We've created a place for you to share your feedback and ideas for dirico. In the Feature Ideas & Upvote Board, you can also vote for existing ideas if you find them valuable. Click here to go to the board.
Note: Please be aware that the board can only be provided in German. If you need any help activate the auto translation or contact our support team.
There are two ways to access the board:
1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the header bar and on the menu item "Make dirico better".
2. Click on the question mark in the module bar on the left to open the "About us" section. At the second position from the top you will find the option "Make dirico better". Click on the button below it.
Both ways will take you to the following view, where you can add your idea or feedback by clicking on the button in the upper right corner.
We explain the exact process for submitting such ideas or feedback in detail in this article.
Exporting the content plan as PDF
To be able to overview your content planning offline, all (filtered) content of the Content module can be exported. The option is available in all views of the Content module except the Kanban view.
To export the content plan, open the content module in one of the above mentioned views and, after applying all desired filter options, click the Download or PDF button. In the table view, you also need to select "PDF Export".
A popup will open where you can make a selection of information included in the export. Here you can also choose between two variants of the PDF export: the "simple" content plan and the content plan with listed contents. In the latter case, in addition to a tabular overview of all content, you will also receive one page each with all details and a preview of the individual content.
Once you have selected all the desired fields, all you have to do is click on "PDF Download".
As soon as the content plan is ready, you will be informed in the notifications. The notification contains a link to the PDF, which opens in a new tab when you click it and can be downloaded there.
When exported, the content plan looks like this, for example: A title page shows you the team name and the selected time period.
The content that fits the chosen time period and the active filter is both listed and, if you have selected the " Content plan with listed contents" variant, also prepared individually with all the strategic details.
The same process applies to the download of the measures in the Event module.
PDF export of individual content with or without cross-posts
From now on, you can also export specific content as a PDF from their detail view.
To do this, click on the three-dot menu in the top left of the corresponding content and select the "PDF download" option.
A new mask opens where you can select whether you want to export only the main content or also all associated cross posts. You can also tick all the information that you want to be part of the export.
Extending the reply period for Facebook direct messages (24h - 7 days)
With our latest update, Facebook direct messages can be replied to even longer from within dirico. Previously, the option was limited to 24 hours for interface reasons. From now on, a reply option for 7 days from message transmission is available.
Automatic query of channel approvals on status change
To save you time in the content process, from now on, after a content has been set to the status "Scheduled", "Schedule on Facebook" or "Schedule as Draft on WordPress", an automatic channel approval will take place.
This way, you don't have to start the process manually anymore.
If you do not want channel approval for the corresponding content and are authorized to publish content, you can skip the channel approval.
Improvement when working with link posts
We have changed a small but useful detail when working with link posts in dirico: Links within link posts that refer to e.g. blog articles that have not been published yet (at the time of creation in dirico), will be re-scraped shortly before publication, so that the blog article that has been published in the meantime will be published including thumbnail and teaser text.
A little tip: When updating, you may encounter problems with old files from time to time. If this is the case, it helps to empty the cache in the browser.
