The contents of our latest update at a glance: automatic publishing to Google My Business, quick view for user information, timeline view for events, adjustments within the LinkedIn targeting and a PDF export for tasks and ideas.
New auto publish channel: Google My Business
While Google My Business has been part of diricos' Dialog module for a long time, we now managed to add the channel to our auto publish channels as well.
What this means for you: From now on, you can create content for Google My Business in a dedicated WYSIWYG editor and schedule it for automatic publishing.
Note: The access tokens of all Google My Business channels already linked to dirico have expired. Please update the corresponding access tokens if you have already linked a Google My Business channel to dirico for community management purposes. Please also note that only verified Google My Business channels can be linked.
Quick view for user information
An improvement has been made in the detailed views of all measures in dirico. Wherever users can be entered, details about them can now be viewed.
This includes the fields "Assigned to", "Responsible users" and "Created by".
Clicking on the respective username opens a popup showing the profile picture, name, language used in dirico, first day of the week, email address, and other (optional to add) details such as the company, department, phone number, and address.
Timeline view for events
There is a new view for the events: a separate timeline, which, independently from the calendar, provides a good overview. Here, you may choose from different views (month, quarter, half-year, year, custom), filter the results or group them as you wish.
LinkedIn offers new targeting options due to changes in the interface. Therefore, from now on, instead of country groups, countries, states and regions, etc., there is the item "Location". Here, entire countries, individual cities or regions can be stored.
Simply enter the desired location in the field and select the appropriate option in the drop-down menu that opens. By clicking the "Add location" button again, you can select additional locations so that targeting can be extended to groups of people from different regions.
Important: Posts for which targeting is already planned need to be switched to the new targeting.
PDF export of the CK editor of tasks and ideas
Since export options are already available for the editors of content and topics, we now introduced this feature for tasks and ideas as well.
To do this, open a task or idea, click on the PDF icon in the CK Editor and the export will start.
A little tip: When updating, you may encounter problems with old files from time to time. If this is the case, it helps to empty the cache in the browser.
