In this update:

Content and channel approvals in the content side panel

With our update, we combined the two types of approvals that can be requested for a content, i.e. content-specific and channel-specific approvals, in one place.

You can now find the approvals to the right of the content clicking the thumb icon. Here, a distinction is made between the two categories.

How requesting and granting of approvals is exactly working, you will learn in this article.

More options for repeating events

Events that repeat in a more complex rhythm (e.g. every third Tuesday) can now be mapped in dirico's event module.

To do this, create an event as usual and select the "Custom" option in the "Repeat" field.

A modal opens in which you can enter information about the individual repeat rhythm. In addition, a date for the last repetition must be entered here. However, the end date is not binding and can be adjusted at any time.

Instagram Stories: Link Sticker (Beta)

Note: The link sticker is a beta feature that we cannot guarantee will be included in our feature set in the future.

Instagram has removed the swipe-up link. Instead, links can now be set with the link sticker. To do this, click on the three-dot menu in the upper left corner of your Instagram Story, select the Link Sticker option and create it in the next step.

Easily mark notifications as "read"

From now on, you can mark received in-app notifications as read even easier and faster. To do this, open your notifications as usual by clicking on the bell in the header bar and click on the Mark as read button on the right above your notifications. This will mark all previously unread notifications as read without you having to click on them individually.

Linking assets to dirico objects (DAM)

In the preview mode of assets you will now find new fields in the Strategy section. You can easily link the opened asset to a topic category, a topic or an event here.

By clicking on one of the fields, you can either select from the existing objects or create a new object from the asset preview.

Adding titles to Facebook video posts

When creating video posts for Facebook, you can now add a title to your videos. The corresponding field appears below the inserted video. Currently, Facebook does not limit the number of characters.

For the re-sync of Facebook video posts, you also get insight into the corresponding title.

Synchronization of SharePoint sites for Microsoft 365 integration

In addition to the already synchronized folders and assets that come with Microsoft 365 integration, from now on your SharePoint sites will also appear in Digital Asset Management.

A little tip: When updating, you may encounter problems with old files from time to time. If this is the case, it helps to empty the cache in the browser.
